Eve Wachhaus, Executive
Director

Eve became the Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity
of the Greater Harrisburg Area in the fall of 2006. Eve oversees
all facets of the local Habitat operation as Executive Director, she is also a memeber of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Pennsylvania. Prior
to joining Habitat, Eve was with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts
Company in several capacities including playing a major role in the
opening of the new Hershey Country Club. Wachhaus, a graduate
of Johns Hopkins University, has spent several years of her life
living and travelling outside the United States and has seen how
communities can come together for change. Eve is President
of Temple Beth El, Lancaster, PA and lives in Elizabethtown with
her husband Aaron and three children.
Mark
Mattern, Director of Development

Mark joined the Habitat staff in Harrisburg recently,
but is certainly not new to the area. For 21 years, Mattern was involved
with the Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club and left as the team’s
Assistant General Manager in 2007. In his time with the team, Mark
was responsible for public and media relations, all publications,
marketing, sales and charity events. Mattern also broadcast more
than 2500 games on Senators’ radio. Mattern’s role with
Habitat includes public relations and fundraising. Mark is a
graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and Mansfield University. Mark
and his wife Amy live in Mechanicsburg with their son Perry.
Antron Watson, Project Administrator & Family

Antron has made public service a big part of his life
and continues that in his role with Habitat for Humanity. Watson
is a graduate of Central Dauphin East High School and Temple University,
where he received a degree in Political Science. While in college,
Antron completed three Habitat Collegiate Challenges travelling to
New Mexico and Texas to volunteer. Locally, Watson has worked at
the Neighborhood Center of the United Methodist Church and with Dauphin
County Social Services for Children and Youth as a school-based caseworker.
Antron resides in Susquehanna Township.
John Neumann, Construction
Manager

John joined Habitat for Humanity in 2004 after a successful
career in general construction. After graduating from York Suburban
High School and York Technical Institute, John moved to Ocean City,
MD to get started in the construction business. Neumann then moved
back to York and worked as a general contractor before getting involved
with Habitat for Humanity. John has been in the construction business
for more than 30 years. He and his wife Nancy, parents of five grown
children, live on a farm in the Strinestown area.
