Aluminum Can Recycling Program

Aluminum Can recycling is a win/win situation for all concerned.  It helps to keep the city clean of trash, helps the environment and helps Habitat for Humanity gain funds to build more homes to help more deserving families.

All you have to do is:

-Call Habitat for Humanity at 545-7299 for a recycling container.  Bags will be provided with it.

-Collect empty soda and beer cans only.  Please make sure they are empty.  If you crush the can, more can fit in the bag.

-Drop off your filled bags at Habitat for Humanity office at 900 S. Arlington Ave, Harrisburg  or take to CSR Recycling, 1616 Cameron Street.  -Tell CSR that the cans are for Habitat for Humanity.  They will give you a weight slip and include your total in our monthly check. Send Habitat the weight slip for our records.

-If you are unable to drop off your bags of cans, please call our office at 545-7299
We will arrange for a pick-up.

We appreciate your involvement.  Every can collected is important to our mission…
to eliminate poverty housing in Harrisburg. Thank You!!
