Habitat’s Seventh Annual Art Auction Set
The “One of a Kind” Art Auction, featuring original art by local artists, to benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area is set to go March 9th.
The Seventh Annual “One-of-a-Kind” Juried Art Auction will be held at the Hershey Country Club, March 9, 2012. The yearly event is an exciting way for artists, art collectors, community leaders and area residents to learn more about working artists in the greater Harrisburg are. More than 100 artists have made a generous donation of “one-of-a-kind” work for each of the previous auctions.
Proceeds will go toward supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission of eliminating poverty housing in Harrisburg.
“We are really excited to get back to work on the art auction fundraiser,” said Eve Wachhaus, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area. “To get the support of so many local artists and community-minded people all working together to help change the life of one local family is wonderful!”
