Eaken Piano Trio-27th Home for the Holidays Show

December 6, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The popular “Home for the Holidays” concert presented by the Eaken Piano Trio will return for the 27th consecutive year. This year’s show will take place on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at The Grace Milliman Pollock Performing Arts Center, 340 N. 21st Street, Camp Hill, PA at 7:00 P.M.

This year’s performance will keep to the theme of including youth talent.  This years opening performance will be by Herman Makosky, trumpet, and Connor Rohrer.  Both musicians are members of the Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestra. Once again, the event will include a reception following the show.

This year also marks the 31st year that the Grammy-nominated Eaken Piano Trio has presented its critically acclaimed “Home for the Holidays” across the United States, Canada and around the world. The Eaken Trio is proud of their community outreach programs that have helped raise awareness of the homeless problems here in America and have generated tens of thousands of dollars to support organizations, like Habitat for Humanity, help the homeless and those living in poverty housing.

The Eaken Piano Trio, with John Eaken, Andrew Rammon, and piano player Gary Boerckl, has been honored by Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area as an Outstanding Sustaining Partner of the affiliate. Habitat looks at the event as the unofficial kick-off for the holiday season with all proceeds going to help eliminate poverty housing here in Central Pennsylvania.
