AFFORDABLE AND SAFE HOME REPAIRS

Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area partners with homeowners to complete affordable interior and exterior home repairs and modifications that increase the safety, accessibility, condition and livability of the home.

The Critical Home Repair program is designed to help keep low-income families in their existing home by making home repairs for which there is a need.

The program addresses five key areas:

  1. Safety

  2. Security

  3. Accessibility

  4. Code Violations

  5. Energy Efficiency

How does it work?

  1. Homeowners complete an application, including all accompanying documentation.

  2. Habitat Harrisburg will schedule an assessment  to identify and prioritize what your eligible repairs are and estimate the repair costs.
