On Monday, July 29th, Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area held a press release on the 1500 Block of Swatara Street in celebration of the completion of our three Habitat homes.
Last summer we started building these homes thanks to Tri-County Housing Development. Woods Work group from Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park, MD made the trip with 160 volunteers for an entire week in order to help accomplish our goal. They gave us a huge start for this project. We had a lot of help along the way from many companies and countless volunteers putting in hard work.
We would not have been able to do this without all the help we have received the past year. Thank you to all who sponsored us to build these homes. The community of Harrisburg really came together for this project and we are ecstatic they are finally finished. We cannot wait for families to move into their new Habitat homes.
Thank you to all who came out to celebrate this huge accomplishment with us!
