Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area held its traditional “Home for the Holidays” concert presented by the Eaken Piano Trio on Tuesday, December 2, 2015 at The Grace Milliman Pollock Performing Arts Center.
The 26th Anniversary performance by the Eaken Piano Trio “was amazing” said Allen Quirk, long time supporter of Habitat for Humanity. Keeping to the theme of incorporating youth into the event, the concert included special guest singer-songwriter Taylor Perry, an up and coming native of Camp Hill.
“When Habitat asked to include the Taylor Perry, to open the show and perform a number with the Trio, I was thrilled,” said John Eaken of the world famous Eaken Piano Trio.
This year the event brought in just over 200 attendees and raised nearly $5,000. “ Holding the event at the Pollock Center, has definitely increased attendance” says Assistant Executive Director, Antron Watson.
